It was 37 years ago today that England won the World Cup Final at Wembley.[BBC] It was also the day I attended my first wedding. The Groom was American and I suppose not too interested in "soccer". It is the first football match I have any memory of. I just remember a load of men standing around a television at the reception. There must have been great celebrations but I guess I thought that was part of the whole Wedding deal. I had no real idea of the significance of the result or that it may never happen again.
