Have a nice Christmas whatever you're doing.
Cheers!!

Lauryn Hill tells shocked Catholic officials at the Vatican "repent"
Excellent bit of work by ex-Fugees singer, Lauryn Hill, who infiltrates the Vatican Xmas party, then blasts the hosts in front of 7,000 guests - "God has been a witness to the corruption of his leadership, of the exploitation and abuses ... by the clergy," she said - way to go Lauryn!

Xmas Party
We're going here for our Xmas party Tuesday night. I've been told to expect possible food poisoning - though that's probably just a rumour put about by by the Anti-Mongolian League - anyone been?
Then it's karaoke - heyhey!

Dear Santa...
I've been a very good boy this year and so I'd like a flying car please...oh yeah, and can it have vertical take off...

Easing the Pain of Losing
Sorry as I was to see Chelsea lose at home to Bolton today, there were a few things that made this easier to take while watching The Premiership on ITV tonight.
1). Chelsea played quite well and were unlucky to lose.
2). Bolton played rather well, I like them and they have some decent players - Okocha, Djorkaeff, Nolan etc...
3). Liverpool lost to Southampton at Anfield.
4). Laurent Robert's 2 fantastic goals as Newcastle beat Spurs 4-0.
5). Gabby Logan presenting.

Which one am I?
they're not real you knowFandemonium hit Hastings last week as The Cheeky Girls bandwagon rolled into town. They were in Hastings Old Town on Friday evening to open a new shoe shop (and possibily enquire about future career options).
We took our youngest daughter, D who is 8. A small crowd of pre-teens, parents and hecklers waited for the girls to appear.
The girls happily signed autographs and posed for photos (see left (D in middle)) until everyone grew bored and left.
As we walked home, I asked D what she thought of the Girls now - "Ok" she replied - I'm sure at that age I would have been starstruck. I asked her who her ideal shop-opening celebs would be - "Busted" - apparently. Fickle lot, kids today.

My Diet Hell (part 1)
I realise that this won't be news to a lot of people, but having never tried to diet before, I hadn't realised how true it is that 'Low Fat' equates to 'Low Taste'.
Trying to buy lunch at my local supermarket is hard enough without being confined to the 'Heathly Options' aisle.
What is it that they take out of sandwiches to make them 'healthy' that also removes the taste?
Does fat taste good?

Nothing Stays the Same
According to today's Metro newspaper, cocaine users risk hepatitis C as a result of sharing rolled-up bank notes to snort the drug.
Part of the fun of drug taking is the ritual and paraphernalia involved. My old pal Tim L. used to roll such fantastically constructed joints that it seemed almost a shame to light them. Now it seems that the passing that rolled-up tenner will disappear.
It's a sad, sad day.
